Welcome to the Online Hub of Wordsmith Dan Ewen

Howdy. It is a pleasure to welcome you to my simple yet proud bastion of self-promotion.

This paragraph is where I would normally tell you about how I’ve always loved the written word, and how even as a child I spelled out ad copy with letter magnets on the Frigidaire. Though completely true, I would prefer not to waste your precious time with a trip down memory lane.

Long story short, I am a writer. I have written for TV, and have a handful of feature projects being pieced together by various companies and producers of note. I also have experience as a ghostwriter and journalist. However, if you’re visiting this humble site, chances are you’re in the market for a copy writer.

For going on seven years now I have written copy for trailers, commercials, print ads, and posters. I have worked on projects for Universal, Lionsgate, 20th Century Fox, Dreamworks, Paramount, Disney, The Weinstein Company, Relativity Media, Sony, Apatow Productions and HBO. I have also had the honor of freelancing at some of the finest firms and post-houses in the industry, including Wild Card, AV Squad and Ignition.

Please feel free to contact me for your copy needs. I’m a pretty good guy, and some would say reasonably nifty at this. Please take a gander at some samples of my work here. I am available for both freelance or “in house” work, inside or outside the realm of entertainment.

Glowing references are available upon request.

Yours,

Dan Ewen — mrewen@aol.com — (310)-569-3863
